You can now choose between dining at the Atrium or the Dinning Room at the Grand Hotel, each featuring distinct menus. The package begins with a leisurely cruise across Port Phillip Bay from Docklands aboard a modern fast ferry, arriving at the charming seaside town of Portarlington. The Grand Day Out Package not only includes your return ferry journey, but it also includes lunch and your choice of drink (with the Atrium Package).

Enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across Port Phillip Bay to the charming seaside village of Portarlington. On arrival, you will be transferred to the departure point for The Q Train, where you’ll have time to enjoy a glass of bubbly and a photo on the red carpet. Onboard the heritage train, take your seat in one of the refurbished Q Class carriages and enjoy a delicious degustation lunch featuring local Bellarine produce. Then sit back and admire the gorgeous views as you ride the rails.

Sail across the bay via Port Phillip Ferries service and when you arrive hop on board the Wine Wheels shuttle bus to be transferred to the iconic Jack Rabbit Vineyard the ‘must do’ destination of The Bellarine. The casual and very friendly House of Jack Rabbit Cellar Door serves up terrific bistro-style fare whilst those opting for the Jack Rabbit Restaurant are in for a gastronomic contemporary dining treat. Guests can choose between one or two courses, and both experiences promise equally stunning vistas.

Portarlington Mussel Tour Ferry Packages > An intimate boat tour that celebrates the famous Portarlington Mussels. Take the ferry direct from Docklands to Portarlington in only 70 minutes. When you arrive you’ll jump off the ferry and straight onto Valerie, a fully refurbished 40-year-old mussel vessel, that will take you out for a luxurious and unique coastal experience. When you head out of the harbour you” be sipping on a local Bellarine wine and learning about the various stages of mussel farming from our mussel farmer Lance Wiffen. Touch the mussel ropes as they’re pulled from the water and get a front row seat to the whole farming process.

Club Cruises is a partnership between Port Phillip Ferries and the Portarlington Golf Club designed to give you a great day out at a reasonable price. Cruise across the bay from Melbourne in comfort and style taking in the scenic vistas. The Portarlington Golf Club will take care of the rest with courtesy bus transfers and a leisurely two-course lunch at the Portarlington Golf Club. It’s a great way for a social club to share a memorable few hours catching up  – and all for just $65! What’s more, if your group has 25 or more, the price drops to $60 per person!
