Docklands Offers

Attractions

When you next visit Melbourne, your first stop has to be Harbour Town in Docklands precinct. Have fun doing some of Melbourne’s best family activities – ArtVo 3D Trick Gallery, O’Brien’s Skating Rink, Mini Golf in the Dark, Hoyts Cinema and, of course, the Iconic Melbourne Star Observatory Wheels (which is no longer in commission, sadly).
In Docklands, shopping is more accessible than ever. Located just around the corner from the CBD, Docklands has a myriad of shops with countless fashion brands including, but not limited to, H&M, Cotton On, Mini So etc. It has all you could ask for in terms of shopping.

If you prefer to have an evening stroll along the waterfront precinct, taking in the scenes of Melbourne’s beautiful city skyline, the Harbour Esplanade is the best place to be. Grab a nice quiet meal, with the expansive range of exquisite cuisines. Cambodian, Mediterranean, Modern Australian, Thai, Chinese or Lebanese – you have a lot of options for dining at Docklands. Enjoy a drink with dinner accompanied by a stunning view overlooking the Yarra River!
Afterwards, a walk down to Docklands Park is essential as it showcases the Bolte Bridge. The South Wharf bridge crosses over the Yarra River, a perfect opportunity for photographers or for your next Instagram post. If you are lucky enough to be here to photograph this bridge at sunset, it can be a real spectacle as the lights illuminate the structure and the evening sky with a golden glow.

Cow Up a Tree

A whimsical public sculpture located just as you hop off the ferry. It’s cast in five tonnes of bronze and stands eight meters high. John Kelly’s ‘Cow Up a Tree’ was inspired after seeing images of cows swept away during terrible flooding in Gippsland. It makes a great meeting spot and photo opportunity.

ArtVo

Situated in the heart of District Docklands, ArtVo offers everyone the chance to experience the traditional art museum in a whole new way. You can not only touch the art but be the art by simply striking a pose in front of the camera. Australia’s first immersive, 3D ‘trick-art’ gallery. Explore the interactive gallery with over 11 themed zones.
